Why become a KC Classic sponsor?

The KC Classic charity golf tournament is the rebranded Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure South Coast Region annual golf tournament.  The tournament has an impressive 30+ year pedigree and provides an amazing opportunity for Ministry staff, consultants and contractors to come together to share a round of golf, some laughs and a meal while contributing to local charities.  We also come together to remember our dear friend Keith Callander, for whom the tournament is named.

Levels of Sponsorship

The tournament is grateful for donations of any amount.  To recognize sponsors, we have introduced levels of sponsorship as follows:

Platinum    $1000

Gold        $750

Silver        $500

 

Sponsorship Opportunities

Sponsors can donate cash to sponsor a hole or a game, or donate a prize.  Cash will be used to purchase prizes.  Holes and games include:

• Hole in one

• Bingo Bango Bongo at 18th hole

• Men’s KP

• Ladies KP

• Men’s long drive

• Ladies long drive

• Most honest team

• Putting contest

Food and give-aways include:

• Welcome beer and a sandwich

• Swag bag contents (could be anything from branded swag to food to clothing)

 

On the day of the tournament, sponsors can put corporate flags/tents on the course and have the option to provide staff to volunteer at their sponsored hole.  

After the banquet and speeches, prizes will be distributed or auctioned off, depending on the wishes of the donator.   

All sponsors will be publicly recognized on the kcclassic.org website after the event.

In 2024, the proceeds of the tournament will be donated to the BC SPCA, the ALS Society of BC and the Ishtar Transition Housing Society.
